The Third Eye is a Science Fiction story that spawned the major framework, characters and concepts for what we know today to be, The Matrix and Terminator films. The Third Eye, a registered Copyright protected screenplay was appropriated illegally and the script split, to create two narratives, The Matrix and Terminator. However, these two stories are meant to be one. Two franchises were adapted from the copyrighted book and script.
For example, John Connor in the Terminator IS Neo from the Matrix and visa versa. When you read the Third Eye it brings the two film narratives together and makes more logical sense then when separated.
It is not un-common for writers submitting their material to major studios to have their screenplays appropriated and produced by entities who are bereft of original ideas. How do these frauds get away with it? They are people who are institutionally protected, are financially and politically assisted, and their lies and fabrications are promoted and supported by the media and enabled by many to continue to deny the truth and steal material from struggling yet profoundly talented writers.
When you scratch the surface, Hollywood studio films are replete with Copyright theft scandals, of writers from all over the world suing the studios and their entities for theft of their material and appropriation of the work into some of the most lucrative films of our time. The Matrix and Terminator are two such franchises. The interesting aspect to this story however is that while I, the writer Sophia Stewart sued for Copyright Theft in the Utah Federal Court and won in 2014, there has been no justice. No media attention that announced my win, despite a court room full of journalists. Instead what followed were either smear campaigns against my name, mythologizing me as some fictitious internet hoax or a mainstream media blackout. The many defendants involved avoided jail, avoided compensating me as the original writer and continue to assert their delusional right to produce my copyrighted material, without acknowledging my existence as the true writer of this seminal work, all despite a Federal court ruling.
